a decent stay
helpful staffcomfortable bedsmall roomsteep stairs
the staff was helpful. the bed was comfortable. staff made up the sofa bed for us when we asked them. the location is great, right in the middle of the high street.
upon arrival, i was given a cosy double room instead. the duty manager said all beautiful rooms were allocated. i also found the stairs to the third floor steep, which would be difficult for less mobile guests.

the location was very central (right in the middle of the high street). the private car park was convenient, accessible through a barrier at the back. the room was clean and came with useful amenities such as free wifi and a coffee machine.
The bathroom needed some attention. The window lacked a blind. the room faced the street, so i experienced early morning noise from pigeons and traffic. This could be difficult for less mobile guests.
